Namaste to all from the cow-stained banks of Ganga in Rishikesh.

Welcome to the Open Centre group.  

Last week was Paradox Chris' Nondual Satsang poetry and "open microphone" event to fundraise for
Open Centre at the Center of Light, near Tapovan Resort in Lakshman Jhula, Rishikesh
It was a mind-blowing evening with Chris' brilliant non-dual poetry/sing-along hosting, Sufi
whirling, songs and rhythms and hula hoop dancing.

Smiles--donations have started coming in every day now.

Gemmaji's very full trip to Spain was a great success.  UNESCO is getting about 50
spiritual/religious groups of Catalonia to sign a group letter of support for the Open Centre.
They will also interview her for their magazine on interreligious dialogue.  UNESCO has also
offered us their database/email lists for our fundraising.

Also in Spain, Gemmaji received the support of Catalonia's most internationally famous person,
Raimon Panikkar, a half-Indian philosopher who divided his time between Harvard and Varanasi.

About 20 people have helped put together a new "businesslike" proposal for the Open Centre. It
finally seems to be ready, and professional fundraisers have given us good feedback.
